Pablo Sainz-Villegas and soprano Serena Sáenz offered a magnificent concert at the Palau de la Música, with great works for guitar and voice.
Two of the most important artists of the moment created a well-balanced program for the occasion, starting with a piece by Francesca Caccini, one of the first known female composers.

Great names from the Catalan and national scene played a significant role, with pieces by Sor, Martí i Soler, García Lorca, and even a world premiere by Albert Guinovart, who was present.

Mozart's Don Giovanni opened the second half, followed by a selection of songs by Bellini, including La Sonnambula.
As an ambassador of the guitar worldwide, Sainz-Villegas wanted to pay tribute to Tárrega with Recuerdos de la Alhambra and La Gran Jota de concierto, essential pieces in his recitals.

Granados and a selection of his 12 Tonadillas closed a very special concert, in which even encores were added, such as Alfonsina y el mar by Ariel Ramírez and Canzonetta spagnuola by Rossini.
