We will have for this concert Ivan Fischer, considered one of the most visionary musicians of our time. In the mid-1980s he founded the Budapest Festival Orchestra and his work as its musical director has become one of the biggest international musical successes of the last 30 years. He has been Principal Conductor of the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, of the Lyon National Opera and of the Berlin Konzerthausorchester, the latter named him laureate conductor. The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra named him Honorary Guest Conductor after decades of collaboration. He is a regular guest conductor of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and the New York Philharmonic.

Maestro Zubin Mehta has been the precursor of this tour and has wanted to be in charge of letting us know who will conduct the concert in this concert: Ivan Fischer, regular guest conductor of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and therefore one of the most suitable conductors to replace Mehta on stage.
