Bedřich Smetana My Country (Má Vlast): "Vyšehrad", "The Moldau" and "Šárka"
The Czech Philharmonic, under the baton of its principal conductor Semyon Bychkov, will present a programme that combines romantic virtuosity and Czech identity, with three symphonic poems by Bedřich Smetana from the My Country (Má vlast) cycle: Vyšehrad, The Moldau and Šárka; three essential works in the symphonic repertoire of his country.
Pianist Behzod Abduraimov, who was the winner of the London International Piano Competition in 2009 at the age of just 18, has established himself as one of outstanding figures of his generation and is a regular guest of major international orchestras and concert halls.
