Season 2017/18

The Concierto de Aranjuez is the Spanish composition most played around the world. Now, we have the privilege of hearing this work in the same place where it was first performed.

The pride and joy of Central Europe. With so many five-star ingredients in the same concert, music lovers just won’t be able to miss it.

We are presenting two Catalan modernist dramas to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of Enric Granados.

In Memory of Sir Neville Marriner (I). Gianandrea Noseda conducts this wonderful concert dedicated to our great friend Sir Neville Marriner, who last season departed from us forever after conducting almost one hundred concerts with the Cadaqués Orchestra.

The recital. Let’s leave one of the greatest living pianists to choose a repertoire that will provide the intimate experience we expect from a recital, and transmitting the message always hidden in music and only disclosed on special occasions.

In memory of Sir Neville Marriner (II). Second concert and second requiem in memory of Sir Neville Marriner. This time with Verdi’s thrilling Requiem, performed by the Orchestra of the Liceu under the baton of Josep Pons.

A tidal wave at the Palau de la Música Catalana. Two forces of musical nature, Gabriela Montero and Jaime Martin, with the Cadaqués Orchestra, will offer us a concert featuring Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Albeniz that promises to be at recording standard.

The confirmation of talent. Ashkenazi, Denis Kozhukhin and the Cadaqués Orchestra get together to perform Beethoven’s fourth symphony and Rachmaninoff’s third piano concerto. An excellent opportunity to listen to a great pianist conducted by a legendary pianist.

The orchestra par excellence. Sir Simon Rattle’s farewell tour with the Berlin Philharmonic comes to Barcelona, to the BCN Clàssics programme, so that you can delight in one of the most famous orchestras of all time, the Berlin Philharmonic, and in the maestro who has been its chief conductor since 1999. A unique event that will never be repeated!
